Kimera K39: Koenigsegg V8, Manual, 20 Gone.
Italy builds a 1,000 hp hypercar with a Swedish heart, a seven-speed manual and Group C bones — and sells out before a wheel turns.
€2.3M, ~1,100 kg, 986 hp/8,250 rpm Koenigsegg 5.0 twin-turbo V8, 7-speed Cima manual as standard, Villa d'Este debut, first deliveries early 2027. Top Gear called it 'genuinely legit' and r/supercars is united in disbelief that a paddle-shift-free hypercar sold 20 units before anyone drove it.

Manthey Taycan: 6:55. Notary Present.
Manthey's first powertrain-plus-aero EV kit lapped the Nordschleife 12 seconds quicker than stock — and Porsche brought a notary to prove it.
Taycan Turbo GT with Manthey Kit: 6:55.553 on 15 April 2026, 978 hp in Attack Mode, 1,631 lbs of downforce at top speed, first Manthey Kit to include powertrain upgrades. Rennlist's EV sceptics are quiet; the lap-time believers are pointing out it's within 5 seconds of an ICE GT2 RS Manthey and calling that a conversation-ender.

Bugatti Draws a Little Prince. One-Off.
The W16 Mistral 'Le Retour du Jeune Prince' has hand-painted constellations, a 3D-scanned silver rose in the gear lever, and a copper-bronze finish — because the W16 era deserves to go out reading literature.
One-of-one Sur Mesure commission; bespoke copper-bronze colorway, hand-applied star constellations on the body, embroidered moon on door panels, miniature silver rose inside the gear shifter — all referencing a collector-authored sequel to Saint-Exupéry's Le Petit Prince. Pistonheads thread summed it up: 'that rose in the gearknob is genuinely mad craftsmanship.'

Mille Miglia Rolls in 8 Days. Vesco for 7.
400 pre-1957 cars, 29 nations, one man chasing a seventh straight win — and this is the last edition before the 2027 centenary that changes everything.
June 9–13, Brescia–Rome–Brescia figure-of-eight, ~140 timed trials across 2,000 km; Andrea Vesco in an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS hunts an unprecedented seventh consecutive victory. The Gentleman Racer noted it's the 44th edition — the last warm-up lap before 2027's 100th anniversary, which is already making the collector world nervous about what a centenary grid looks like.
